Basic Brisket Recipe

Recipe for brisket from a customer, Don Kornkiewicz, who wanted to share what he did. It’s simple and easy to follow but tastes delicious in the end!

”Cover brisket with Himalayan black salt and cracked peppercorn rub.

Press it into the brisket & seal it in a zip lock bag.

Refrigerate overnight.

Set oven to 200.

In a covered pot & add a cup of water.

Put the brisket on a rack in the pot to keep it out of the water.

You could add onions, carrots & garlic now. I didn’t but I might next time.

Cook for 8-10 hours. Baste ever two hours.

It was amazingly moist and tender.

Enjoy!”
